Thanks to the New Zealand Make-A-Wish Foundation and Hurlstone Earthmoving seven-year-old Ketesemani Tuivai had his wish come true when a giant Kenworth truck delivered a new computer to his home in Manurewa recently.

Plenty of boys dream of having their own computer and riding in big trucks. Manurewa youngster Ketesemani Tuivai's wish for a computer and ride in a giant Kenworth came true last week.  The seven-year-old was left speechless when a monstrous Hurlstone Kenworth truck turned up on his doorstep to deliver his computer.

In a handwritten letter he sent to the Make-a-Wish Foundation which granted his wish Ketesemani said he would never forget the moment.
"Thank you for all the hard effort in making my wish come true," he wrote.

The car and truck fanatic recently had a life-saving liver transplant and spent much longer than any boy his age would wish for in hospital.

Hurlstone earthmoving contracts operations manager Peter Ensor says the company was proud to help make Ketesemani's wish a reality.

"It was extremely satisfying for all involved as it's not often you can be involved in making kids dreams come true in such a unique way," Mr Ensor says.

Make-A-Wish Foundation strives to grant the one cherished wish of children with life-threatening illnesses. The foundation is in desperate need of volunteers and is calling on Manukau locals to help make kids dreams come true.
